Take Action on Clean Energy: Tell Gov. DeSantis to Veto SB 1128 and HB 919

Even though nearly 70 percent of Floridians want to see climate change addressed locally, Republicans legislators passed two bills -- SB 1128 and HB 919 -- that would block local progress on renewable energy. If these bills become law, local governments will be stripped of essential tools that could help us confront the climate crisis.

SB 1128 and HB 919 would strip local control of energy sources, reversing progress on 100 percent renewable commitments and sidelining the movement to adopt clean, renewable energy powered electric buildings and vehicles in Florida.
