Zarius and Shaa meet for the first time in a small town in Zeinav for a competition in which tossers throw goblins as far as they can. Zarius is accompanied by his younger brother, Karize. Shaa encourages the brothers to partake in the competition and takes them under his supervision. The group is confronted by bounty hunters in a an alleyway. Zarius and Shaa compete in the contest but the bounty hunters attack again and kidnap Karize. Zarius and Shaa rescue Karize before parting ways.
Pick Your PoisonZarius visits Kamille's home during a rainstorm in order to discuss possible future partnerships. Zarius keeps his guard up while at the mercy of the Witch of Moonglade. Kamille casts a spell which reveals the Fellblood's true identity to her. The two come to an understanding before Zarius departs after a sleepless night.
A Tiefling and a Changeling Walk Through a SwampZarius and Caedes make their way across the Marsh Flats from Lilicors with the intention of traveling to Moonglade to get treatment for Zarius' injury. During a rest, they finally chat about who they are and their goals for the future.
A Fine Day for a SoakSeveral adventurers find themselves crossing paths at the hot springs in Frost Gale. Conversations and mischief ensue.
It's hard out here on these streetsZarius finds a moon elf, Cirice, sleeping in an alley and is then joined by Astrid and Blue Raspberry. Cirice believes that Zarius and Astrid are destined to lead her to greatness, but first they lead her to a bath and new clothes. Zarius tried to figure out what Blue Raspberry was to no avail. Eventually the group parted ways with Cirice joining Astrid and Blue Raspberry on an adventure.
It's all fun and games until you get caughtZarius finds Cyran being pickpocketed by Iryla in the streets of Darkveil. The pair of men manage to convince Iryla to go with them to the Dancer's Den in order to get her fed, cleaned up, and in new clothes. Some thugs decide to cause some trouble for the group, recognizing Zarius and plotting to openly challenge him before the Fellblood and the others ambush them instead.
Bonding and BathwaterZarius and Kamille cross paths once again at some hot springs in Frost Gale. Zarius' sister, Eameia was there as an Astral Projection and the three discussed some important matters regarding Bellighul, the Mage's Guild, and plans for the future. Eameia makes plans to meet Kamille and Bellighul under her own terms and Zarius invites Kamille to visit the Rookery in Darkveil the next time she is in the area.
Snipe HuntShaa tasks Zarius and Gerhart with tracking down the mythological snipe. During their search, a group of tribesmen mercenaries hunt down Zarius and Gerhart while Shaa is mobbed by ground squirrels. A fight breaks out, grass is burned, an owl bear shows up, there's a wererat, Shaa summons a lion dragon, it's chaos.
Downtown ShakedownZarius finds himself being harassed by a group of thugs which quickly escalates into a violent encounter. Plague comes to assist him in fending off the thugs.
Leaving Footprints in the SandZarius visits the Oasis to check on Kvasir only to find that Kvasir has encountered two strangers, a young Fellblood named Nyr and a loud Astralblood named Kara. Zarius steps in when Kara's forwardness clearly puts Kvasir on edge only to get blasted by the displaces celestial. After some conversation, the situation deescalates and the group has a small chat at a café until Kvasir leaves hastily followed by Nyr.
Hidden from the SunZarius meets a curious young man with connections to Darkveil City named Vail in the Brass Dragon, a poplar tavern located in the glimmering Sol City. They have a mostly pleasant conversation until a contact Zarius was meeting arrives and offers him a job, which he is quick to invite Vail to tag along in hops of getting a chance to assess his skills.
Disrupting CommunicationsThe Rookery is infiltrated by Fish, a young thief aviankin who is out to steal some important documents. Fish is intercepted by Ebony, the tiny void kitten that inhabits the darkest corners of the repurposed clocktower. Zarius is woken up by Ebony just as Fish attempts to make an escape. Zarius retrieves what was stolen and then comes to an understanding with the promising thief, offering to hire Fish for a few jobs in the future.
Askr to AshesZarius get a tip that someone is going to make an attempt on his life. He decides to lure the assassin out to the Deadwood in order to ambush them for questioning. Much to his surprise, the assassin turns out to be a young mercenary named Askr who doesn't really seem to know much about anything. Returning to Darkveil City, the two go and have a chat with Captain Oleeae Bleier, the leader of the Circle of Cinders mercenaries to figure out just what is going on.
The Girl in the ForestWhile waiting for Zarius to arrive, Snow and Eirynor meet a flirty woman named Persephone who picks a fight with some ruffians. They leave after Zarius arrives, supposedly doing some sort of work down the street from the tavern. Zarius converses with the woman until the ruffians come back and challenge the pair to a brawl. Zarius scares them off before they can do any damage and then turns down Persephone's advances before leaving the tavern.
Get this Child Some StonksZarius, Veliky, and Cantio pick up an orphan kid on the streets of Sky Peak Village named Astrid. They get the kid cleaned up, fed, and properly equipped to start her life of adventuring. Zarius agrees to supervise her on her first mission to rescue some missing miners in the area.
Getting to Know the Local Tavern CultureWhile waiting to intercept a man who owes a great debt, Zarius runs into Arashi who helps him stop the man from fleeing and keeps the situation from escalating.
Sparks, Smoke, and SmolderZarius is confronted by a pair of investigators after being caught stealing something from a messenger in the markets of Zeinav City. Issala and Azalea use the opportunity to try and secure future work with Zarius and his network. They part ways with no altercations.
Aftermath of the Red RogueZarius and Caedes reconvene after the events of the Red Rogue, they discuss what happened as well as make a plan to meet with Lyari the black market coordinator. They successfully reach an understanding with the woman before returning to the Rookery where Eameia confronts Caedes about his behavior.
Not something you see everydayDuring an altercation in Darkveil, Zarius and his minions meet Danae who helps them subdue some rival gang members up to some shady business.
Tangled WebsZarius returns to Darkveil and reconvenes with Caedes at one of the safehouses. They have a chat about things, and Zarius discloses some sensitive information to Caedes.
An Unfortunate Case of Burnt ToastAstrid infiltrates Zarius' family home to confront Anselm about Zarius' death. Anselm tries to get Cyran's location from Astrid and presents her with a letter left by Zarius for her. Caedes is given a lead to track Cyran down in the Marsh Flats.
Event Quests
Moonlit FrightZarius and Veliky run into each other during the preparations for the Black Harvest Festival. They are interrupted by an attack by brigands dressed in various costumes which have granted them strange powers. After defeating the brigands, they manage to track down their hideout, a haunted house across town. After fighting off a carriage mimic and deranged pumpkin-headed driver, the pair infiltrate the hideout only to be confronted by more costumed goons. Once the goons are subdued, they fall into a trap that teleports them to the infernal plane itself to partake in a sadistic game of Do or Die! hosted by fiendish construct, Mr. Game. Without their abilities and using only the powers of the costumes they are provided with, the two suffer humiliation and bodily harm as they fight through three rounds of the game only for catastrophe to strike resulting in their only chance to escape. Returning to their home plane, they both succumb to being pawns in the hands of two different entities whose ambitions threaten to consume their very souls in flames.
Lloyd's Field Guide to Ooze The creation of Oozes
Zarius recruits Caedes to observe ooze reproduction at the behest of Lloyd the monster researcher. The pair track down an ooze while trying to figure out how much they actually know about each other and what threat they could pose to one another. They race to the top of a large tree where they find an ooze nest. Before they can complete their research, a group of monster hunters interrupt their work. A fight breaks out and eventually, the two subdue them and force them to flee the swamp. They once again race to the top of the tree and bear witness to the budding of a new ooze before heading back to Lilicors for the night.
Mold on the Walls
While resting at the inn in Lilicors after their previous adventure, Zarius and Caedes learn that the goblin innkeeper has a pesky ooze hiding in the basement. The pair take it upon themselves to remove the ooze with some difficulty. Zarius manages to drag the ooze out of the inn at the expense of his arm. Caedes proceeds to lure the ooze out of town and back into the forest before Zarius passes out from his wounds.
Ooozegon TrailZarius and Caedes travel across the Marsh Flats only to come across a river of acid cutting through the marsh created by an Elder Ooze. Lloyd, the ooze researcher, has gotten himself and his team stuck in the middle of the stream. Together, Zarius and Caedes construct a self-supporting bridge inspired by a childhood memory and use it to help the researchers to safety. Their business is not yet done as Lloyd asks the pair to help them finish their research on the Elder Ooze despite Zarius' health starting to take a dangerous turn.
Elder OozeZarius and Caedes track down the Elder Ooze and come up with a plan to tire it out so Lloyd and his team can collect samples for their research. They have a couple of close calls as the massive ooze proves to be much faster than either man could have expected based on their prior experience. Caedes ends up injured, but the two survive the encounter before continuing on their way to find a way to save Zarius' slowly decaying arm.
A Game of Tag - Part 1At the request of his father, Zarius heads out to defend a warehouse from a group of thieves taking inspiration from the infamous Red Rogue. The warehouse is infiltrated by an unknown assailant whom Zarius confronts. In the end, the thieves made away with a significant amount of cargo from the warehouse, and Zarius was left hanging out to dry.
A Game of Tag - Part 2Zarius, Snow, and Eirynor launch a counter attack on the Red Rogues by smoking them out of a shop they are occupying in the Market District. Everything goes to plan, until Eirynor is taken hostage by a woman with mysterious powers. Zarius manages to scare her off, and they return the stolen goods to their rightful owners only to be pressured into hunting down the one behind the Red Rogues.
A Game of Tag - Part 3Zarius finally confronts Mei one last time, having his suspicions of who she actually is confirmed by Charlotte. Conflicted on what to do when faced with the realization that Mei is Caedes, Zarius ultimately decides to let Caedes go, concluding the assassin's business without interference even though it means losing a contract with some powerful merchants for Zarius' family.
Plot Quests
Part 1Zarius and Cheche meet in the wilderness of Moonglade in search of a clue which will lead them to the Sol Stone, a powerful artifact connected to Avasha's power. While resting, they were awoken by a group of cultists led by some undead horse and rider. Following the group, they learned the cultists had something they called a shard which led them to another strange piece of metal. After causing chaos under the cover of darkness, the two managed to swipe both pieces and fled into the night. The two shards seem to fit together like some sort of cipher wheel. What this clue decodes has yet to be seen, and the search for the Sol Stone continues.
Part 2Zarius joins Vikram and Maude in their pursuit of the mythical Sol Stone to the wilds of Giant's Avenue. There, they come across a temple infested with devils and cultists. Launching a sneak attack on the cultists, they manage to secure the location, infiltrate the temple, and unlock the next chamber.
Part 3Zarius finds himself transported to into the Sol Stone where he faces off against the god of time and space, Ziev, with many other brave heroes of Charon. The infamous cultist, Scern, needs time to complete a spell to defeat the god and get everyone home. The heroes fight for their lives and manage to fend the god off long enough for the spell to be completed, destroying the Sol Stone and opening Charon back up to other realms it had been sealed off from.
Don't Touch ThatZarius is challenged by Shaa to a competition of fanciness. Zairus invites Caedes to join as their pranks get increasingly out of hand. Zarius forfeits and speaks with a mysterious female Fellblood briefly before the Marrowvines make their announcement.
The Devil in DisguiseZarius sits down to a conversation with Vakker and Cyran. They chat a bit, slowly letting information about their work slip in hopes of forming some sort of understanding and potential future contacts.
It Takes Two to TangoZarius pulls Cantio onto the dancefloor only to be interrupted by Bellighul. The situation escalates when Zarius hipchecks Bellighul on the dancefloor, followed by Bellighul throwing a wine glass full of meat in the tiefling's face, and ending with Zarius tearing the Lord of Ghouls' costume. Kamille steps in and rescues Cantio while defusing the conflict. Zarius ends up being forced to dance with a rival member of the Ashen Fathers before leaving the scene.
Of Tricks and TreatsZarius and Caedes are approached by Veliky and Kamille who conspire with one another to get the two men together. Kamille invites Caedes to dance while Veliky and her replicants dance with Zarius. When Kamille casts a spell on Caedes and learns of his past, she flees the dancefloor in tears. Caedes retreats from the judgmental stares of the crowd and Zarius chases after him. Veliky and Kamille regroup and discuss what happened while Zarius speaks with Caedes in the privacy of the gardens.
UnpleasantriesZarius confronts Kamille during the ball about what she did to Caedes. Zarius rejects the debt exchange Kamille agreed to with Caedes and voices his disapproval of her actions which put all three of them at risk of being targeted by rival Ashen Fathers.
Rise of Vulcadreaus
An Offering to the PyreThe chase of the cultists who attacked Cyran and Del comes to a close as Zarius, Cyran, and Caedes venture to Mount Drakolt to put an end to their plots. Upon arrival, it becomes alarmingly clear that the cultists have already perished and the group instead is attacked by Charred. Zarius's condition worsens, and in an attempt to escape before he loses control of himself, he ends up in a large chamber dedicated to worshipping Vulcadreaus, a long-forgotten god of destruction and rebirth. The effort proved to be in vain, and the collective of souls trapped within Zarius' body finally take hold of him. Cyran and Caedes work together to try and save the fellblood before the souls reduce him to ash. In the end, Cyran makes the decision to end Zarius' suffering and stabs him through the chest, killing him. Unable to collect the fragile remains and in dire need of an escape from the collapsing chamber, Cyran and Caedes abandon the scene to confront a now revived primordial god.
Displaced
Zarius and Edward come across some merchants under attack by a group of displacer beasts. They fend off the cats but one manages to snatch a gnome and flee back to its lair.
Odd Man OutZarius and Edward track down the pack leader and come across its lair and the remainder of its pack. The pair manage to save the gnome and defeat the pack leader.
Lost at Sea
Weather the Storm
Zarius, Edward, and Xalmann are asked to rescue fishermen from a vicious storm. They set sail and get caught in a cyclone which nearly capsizes. They battle against lightning, hail, winds, and rain until they reach the eye of the storm where they find the sailors.
In the Eye of the StormZarius, Edward, and Xalmann fend off sharks from attacking the sailors. After rescuing them, a dragon turtle arrives and threatens to destroy their ship. Fleeing into the storm, the group and the sailors manage to safely return to shore.
In the Eye of the StormZarius is recruited by Veliky to help retrieve some fishermen lost at sea. While retrieving the civilians was easy enough, things could never be simple. A ghost vessel descends from the storm and attacks the Nin Hloth. After a fierce battle, Zarius and Veliky manage to destroy the ship and escape to safer shores.
Rescue the Miners
Locate the MineZarius accompanies Astrid across the Dragon Spine mountains in search of some miners who have gone missing after a series of earthquakes in the area. The two manage to avoid an avalanche and survive a heart-pounding toboggan ride down the side of a mountain before locating the mine, breaking into some huts, then finding the cave-in with the miners sealed on the other side.
Save the MinersZarius and Astrid find the missing miners as well as Veliky. Unfortunately, they are unable to leave due to a colony of kruthiks which soon swarm around them. Working together, the three manage to defeat the queen kruthik and save the miners.
Burning Man
Please turn the temperature downZarius meets Kvasir on the side of Mount Drakolt while searching for a missing researcher. The two manage to locate the researcher who was being nipped at by a pack of Ashland Jackals. Deterring the pack and healing the researcher, the two descend the mountainside to continue their conversations in a less deadly locale.
Beneath the Sands
Buried with youZarius, Cyran, Eirynor, Snow, and Oriole all head to a recently discovered city beneath the White Sands Sea. They explore the city only for Zarius and Cyran to be ambushed by kobolds and kidnapped to the citadel while the minions are ambushed in the streets. Zarius and Cyran escape only to get cornered in a room with a strange artifact. Cyran activates the artifact, awakening a massive wyvern that starts rampaging through the ruins. The group manages to flee the city and stop the wyvern from escaping.
Women with Wings
Storm of FeathersZarius and Eirynor spy on Kamille and the Black Quills as they respond to a call for help from a village being terrorized by harpies. After clearing up a misunderstanding, the two groups join forces to repel the invasion and then set out to eradicate the nearby nest. Sneaking onto the island, Zarius and Eirynor set up distractions while Kamille unleashes the wrath of Ginma on the flock.
Snowed In
Too Cold for SchoolZarius and Aagha are to escort a caravan across the Ice Fields. One problem, the caravan has left without them and has gotten themselves stuck in a blizzard. The adventurers manage to track down the caravan, find some temporary shelter to wait out the storm, and fight off a pack of Barghests before completing their mission.
It was a ghost, I swear
Did you hear that?Zarius and Iryla head into the Hauntwood to meet up with one of Zarius' family's contacts. They run into some ghosts along the way, only to discover it is all a ruse meant to scare people out of the swamp by a frog-like individual who also happened to be the contact.
Leave the Light On
Greedy GrubsZarius meets a young Fellblood fighter named Zeras in the Lantern Light Wood while looking into what exactly was destroying the unique trees. Together they track down a nest of gargantuan wasp nest, fight off four drones and the queen.
The Clasp Revealed
One more campZarius and Astrid track down a Clasp hideout while searching for clues to where the missing Fighter's Guild leader, Athena, ended up. They manage to defeat the goons within the hideout but alert a pair of territorial Girallons to their presence. Zarius ends up getting knocked out only to be overtaken by some dark power which makes him attack indiscriminately. Astrid uses this to her advantage the best that she can before the fight is over and Zarius reverts to normal.
Manifest Destiny
Progress HaltedZarius and Vail head out to sabotage a cargo ship moored in the Pale City harbor, destined for the Arid Mesa. The two silently infiltrate the ship and use the supplies to cause a fire. While their escape does not go particularly smoothly, they do escape to await news of their efforts.
Who's There
Head on a SwivelZarius and Xalmann fend off an owlbear attack in a small fishing village.
Fishing in the DarkZarius and Snow run into Astrid and Wolfe while hunting down a smuggler in a cave fisher infested dwarven home. After fighting off the cave fishers and the smuggler, the group manages to save some civilians before returning to Sky Peak Village.
Glide Over the MoonZarius is asked to help return two stranded manta gliders back into the water and is approached by Lady Gwendolyn who provides some aid. When it's revealed that Lady Gwendolyn is after a rare gem in the possession of the young boy who asked Zarius for help with the mantas, the fellblood takes matters into his own hands and steals the gem from the woman, demanding information in exchange for it.
Catching CrabsZarius, Snow, and Eirynor are in Sol City after it was swamped with crabs. A smuggler's den was broken into and the crabs got into some illicit substances driving them mad. Working together with Taki, the group manages to eventually find the crabs and prevent people from eating the toxic creatures.
Cost of Our SinsZarius, Gerhart, and Wolfe join forces to attempt to capture an Origin Matter which is running amok in the Ash Lands. They manage to survive the encounter, though Zarius is unaware that the Origin Matter is now contained within the body of Wolfe.
CazariusblancaZarius runs into Issala when they both are at a crime scene involving vandalism in Zeinav City. Though their purposes for being there couldn't be more different, they work together and end up discovering a Scorched Ones hideout beneath the city. Outnumbered, the pair come face to face with the supposed Scorched One leader who seems to know a little too much about Zarius for his comfort. Issala then has to prove herself and uncover the true culprit behind the vandalism in order to gain the leader's favor and avoid an all-out fight with the rebel forces.
Only A Stone's Throw AwayZarius runs into some trouble trying to get the research from an archaeologist who is was detained by some farmers after they disturbed a geonid colony and ruined the farmers' crops. The locals won't trust Zarius thanks to the poor reputation of the Fighter's Guild as of late. Luckily a knight from Sol City known as Leandros Aurthurian appears and lends a hand. Though Zarius isn't too happy to learn that the knight was responsible for the death of a fellow guild member and may be withholding other important information in regards to who also witnessed the death of Vikram, a man Zarius once fought side by side with.
Thundering Hooves and Static ChargesZarius and Caedes arrive in King's Valley to sabotage a race by running off with a prized stallion. Little did they know that the race was already rigged and a drake rider was entered in the race to ensure the stallion won. Caedes managed to make off with the stallion, posing as its rider but then was pursued by the drake rider and their large silver storm drake mount. The confrontation gets serious when Zarius catches up to help the assassin fend off the rider and drake. The pair then abscond with the rider and drake, hiding away at an abandoned farmhouse while recovering from the day's events. Eventually they convince the rider to cooperate and return to Darkveil with them.
Wherever There's Smoke...Cyran visits the Rookery with their new companion, Del, tagging along. While meeting everyone, Eameia gets a glimpse into Del's long-forgotten past right before a pack of hell hounds causes chaos in the streets outside. The group is quick to jump to action and defeat the pack with minimal injuries despite the damage to the surrounding buildings. Returning inside, Eameia pulls Cyran aside to disclose that she cast a spell on Del and is now aware of the threats pursuing her. While it would be simpler and safer to hand Del over to the authorities, it is instead decided that they will do everything within their power to protect her.
Where there's smoke...Zarius meets up with Kamille and her drake Kalaf in order to deal with an angered Arcuila. While taking down the electric bird goes relatively smoothly, Zarius loses control over the mysterious entity inside him and ends up attacking Kamille. She manages to avoid his attacks and gain control over the fellblood's body by the time the entity tires and goes back to being docile.
Showing Some Summer SpiritEameia tricks Zarius into handing out posters for the summer festival as a way to get him to take a break from working. The pair of fellbloods cross paths with Beist and engage in conversations. Zarius then gets beat up by all of Beist's giant pets.
Heads UpXalmann runs into Eirynor, Snow, Shael and Indra in the Marsh Flats while hunting an elder hyrda. The group is attacked by the hydra while Indra is stuck in the mud. They manage to defeat the monster mostly thanks to Xalmann's magic and skills. The group offer to give Xalmann a lift to Thunderhoof as thanks for his assistance.
Violence is the Rule of the BeastsZarius and Cyran hunt down an Ur-Beast that is getting alarmingly close to Darkveil. The pair get into a conversation about relationships only to be interrupted by the creature's appearance. The Ur-beast swiftly turns the pair into mere beasts, forcing them to retreat and attempt to rally help from across Darkveil. Shenanigans ensue. Eventually they manage to gather a small force of pets to mount a counter attack on the Ur-Beast, which eventually they manage to defeat.
Guild Quests
Get in a Fight
Gerhart stumbles upon Zarius in the middle of shaking down a fence in an alley. They get into a fight in which Gerhart does his best to fend off Zarius' attacks while Zarius assesses Gerhart's potential as a fighter. Gerhart then helps Zarius move the unconscious fence to a different location and Zarius informs Gerhart of the Fighter's Guild, suggesting he could refine his skills under the tutelage of Shaa, the minotaur.
Only the BoldShaa shows off the secret base of the Fighter's Guild to all the new members.
Defend the Martial Academy
Here comes the VanguardZarius, Gerhart, and Shaa all respond to a call for aid from the Martial Academy which is being threatened by 30 mages. Shaa and Gerhart take the fight to the front while Zarius sneaks in from behind. Eventually, the fight dies down only for a sudden earthquake to alert the adventurers that the fight is only just getting started.
Summoned ProblemsZarius, Shaa, and Gerhart continue their defense effort of the Martial Academy as the mages summon a Spire Viper to the fight. Zarius and Gerhart defeat the remaining mages as Shaa leads the snake up to the top of the building where he then skewers the creature with a ballista bolt.
I walked 500 miles
What is Sunburn?Zarius and Gerhart are asked to protect a caravan transporting goods for an important benefactor of the Fighter's Guild. They are assaulted in the desert by a purple worm which they manage to defeat before reaching the Marsh Flats where they will continue their journey.
Why is everything wet?Zarius and Gerhart continue their contract to protect the strange cargo destined for Eclipse City. Along the way, they managed to figure out what the cargo was and also capture a thief who was pursuing them. The thief, a member of the Lunar Rebels, was trying to prevent the arcane crystal focuses from being delivered to mercenaries hired from the Mage's Guild who were tasked with putting the rebels in their place. Deciding it was none of their concern, they turned the rebel over to the local authorities and completed delivery as promised.
The harder they fallZarius and Eirynor run into Xalmann while hunting Giants that are working as generals for the leader of the Clasp. Eirynor ends up falling into a pit trap which alerts the Giants to their presence and the half-elf is taken captive. Zarius and Xalmann get the drop on the pair of Giants, rescue Eirynor, and secure the Giant's hideout.
Mom's Spagyeti
Tracks in the SnowZarius and Vikram, at the behest of the Fighter's Guild, head out through the snow in Frost Gale in order to track down a yeti who is causing problems for merchants. Unfortunately, a blizzard makes following the trail a lot harder than they hoped. Eventually they do manage to stumble across what possibly could be the entrance to the yeti's lair.
Northern get awayZarius and Vikram have found the Yeti's lair and engage in combat with the massive creature. Working together, they manage to bring the monster to its knees before finishing it off. Vikram clears his conscious and the pair leave the cave to find the storm has since passed. They part ways on good terms for the time being.
No party like a Gnoll party
Gnoll-Body's BusinessZarius and Leandros find themselves responsible for protecting a village being threatened by a gnoll raiding party. While Leandros builds defenses for the town, Zarius scouts the area and finds the gnolls before they can spring their attack on the town.
A Worm Too FarZarius and Gwen hunt down a giant insect to prove to an old grouchy WEF scout that they would be valuable assets to the Winged Expeditionary Force. They successfully defeat the creature but not without taking some hits.
Feeding the TrollsZarius and Blue hunt down a small group of Nightcaller Trolls for the WEF before the sun sets. The pair find the group but misjudge just how powerful the trolls are. Zarius gets badly wounded and just barely manages to help Blue take down the three trolls despite their poisoned blood and regeneration making things a hundred times harder.
Survey Says: TrollsZarius and Gerhart help clear areas for siege weaponry in an attempt to support WEF efforts against the troll threat. The pair chitchat while removing plants and also talk about WEF and the guild's intentions.
Taking a TrollZarius and Shael run into Leandros and his troupe while they move cargo for the Winged Expeditionary Force in anticipation of the final fight against the King Troll. They chat about personal situations and the guild's actions, tenuously forming an understanding with one another which may lead to more collaborations in the future.
Mage's Guild
Stolen Tomes and Broken HomesShael and Eirynor meet up with Fish to rob a tomb on behalf of the Mage's Guild. They run into various traps and are confronted by other tomb raiders for their trouble.
Pyramid PartyShael, Eirynor, and Fish defeat the tomb raiders and manage to locate the tome the Mage's Guild requires. As they escape the pyramid, Fish gives the pair gifts and Shael criticizes keeping Zarius' death a secret from Fish.
Zeinav Initiative
Patrol DutyZarius and Gerhart patrol the Deadwood in the Ash Lands as part of keeping an eye out for any trouble that may be brewing. Zarius retrieves something from some ruins as the two converse and catch up on what they have been up to in the past few months. Zarius encourages Gerhart to ask his crush out, pointing out that the young fighter has come a long way since they first met.
Time for CourtZarius and Cyran attend a charity event held at one of the many casinos owned by Madam Mohurk in Zeinav City. Madam Mohurk is an old friend of Zarius' mother who invited her to attend, but Zarius was sent instead. The two connect with Madam Mohurk for a bit before the night is interrupted by the arrival of Sultan of Zeinav himself. Madam Mohurk introduced the two criminals to the Sultan whom they ended up playing a game of cards against. The night concludes with few winnings despite the risky gambles taken.
Short CourtZarius sneaks himself and his new recruit, Shael, into a party in Bleak Fort where Gwen was trying to curry favor with the local dwarves. Zarius uses the opportunity to sow some rumors into the crowd while Gwen attempts to bribe the drake rider over to her side.
Creatively Redistributing WealthZarius, Fish, and Snow infiltrate a Frost Gale ship to steal resources and instead find a stash of Sol Stone shards. They manage to nab the shards and flee without getting into a fight.
