NNERPP YEARBOOK
This is one of our favorite times of year at NNERPP, as we are honored to have the opportunity to reflect on the year with our amazing members through our annual NNERPP Yearbook. We are so excited to share the 2023 NNERPP Yearbook with you today, which highlights stories of impact from the incredible RPPs that make up the NNERPP community.

We are truly inspired by the stories that our members share in this book, including a broad range of concrete examples showcasing what authentic RPP work and impact look like in each unique context. A huge thank you to all of our members for their tremendous help in bringing together the details of this yearbook.

In addition to sharing highlights of the work each partnership in NNERPP has engaged in this year, the Yearbook also invites you into the space we have created together, including the many gatherings, workshops, and publications that have taken place within NNERPP itself – after all, much of what we do in NNERPP is learning and working together!

We invite you to explore the 2023 NNERPP Yearbook
here and share it with anyone in your networks interested in learning more about what RPP work can look like!

Happy reading and happy holidays from NNERPP!
NNERPP YOUTH VOICE FOR RPPs AWARDS PROGRAM
We are excited to announce the third round of NNERPP’s awards program "Youth Voice 4 RPPs" (formerly Student Voice 4 RPPs). This program recognizes, honors, and further supports existing RPP efforts that have a strong interest in and/or currently support youth involvement in RPP work (for the purposes of this awards program, "youth" is defined as young people between the ages of 14 and 24). We have seen amazing youth voice efforts come to life or grow in the previous two rounds of the program and are thrilled to open applications to a third round.

Through the application process, up to three NNERPP members will be selected for awards of up to $7,500 for further developing, expanding, or strengthening their student involvement strategies. The awards may be used to support a variety of innovative involvement activities including (but not limited to) focus groups, podcasts, videos, multi-media presentations, and other forms of engagement.

We hope that you will join us in this awards program! Please don’t hesitate to
contact Kim Wright, NNERPP Assistant Director, with your questions.

Applications are due January 26, 2024.

INDICATORS OF RPP HEALTH AND EFFECTIVENESS: UPDATED FIVE DIMENSIONS FRAMEWORK
We are pleased to share a new publication coming out of a collaboration between the National Center for Research in Policy & Practice (NCRPP) and NNERPP: "Indicators of Research-Practice Partnership Health and Effectiveness: Updating the Five Dimensions Framework" by Erin Henrick, Caitlin C. Farrell, Corinne Singleton, Alison Fox Resnick, William R. Penuel, Paula Arce-Trigatti, Danny Schmidt, Stacey Sexton, Kristina Stamatis, and Sarah Wellberg presents an updated RPP Effectiveness Framework.

This updated framework revises the original 2017 framework developed by Henrick and colleagues. While the five dimensions of RPP effectiveness remain the same, the conceptualization of them is revised to reflect the evolving field and an explicit emphasis on the role of equity and power dynamics within RPPs.

The framework is closely tied to
a set of tools, including survey scales, mini-routines, and discussion and reflection questions to help bring to life the five dimensions within the context of RPPs’ work.

The toolkit and framework are the result of almost five years of collaborative inquiry and co-design with the broader RPP community with funding from the William T. Grant Foundation. A huge thank you to the over 300 RPP participants who shared their insights and wisdom at different points in the process.

We invite you to explore the revised framework
here and the toolkit here!
