If it's difficult for you to just send a "written" message, just imagine yourself talking to that person in real-life. Maybe you'll have more ideas for a conversation starter
Strategy numero uno: send a personalised message and talk more when conntection is accepted. I do like the mix; send a voicemessage after your personal invite. I personally dislike listening to voicememo's ๐.
Point 4 has always been a great opener for me ๐๐ป And on the 2 connection strategies I like the first one but the second one also grabs attention if you initially get accepted before that Probably one of the best first messages that I ever received was by Shaun Thompson ๐ง He send me a video message and it totally broke the ice and started an instant conversation ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Great post,Perry van Beek CHPC! Conversation starters are crucial for building relationships on LinkedIn. I particularly appreciate your emphasis on providing value in the connection message. In my experience, personalized messages that highlight a common interest or a specific way I can help the recipient have yielded the best results. It shows genuine interest and sets the stage for a meaningful conversation. Thank you for sharing these strategies! #LinkedIn #Sales #leadgeneration
Voice notes...... eekkks! Don't like to receive them, as they feel more pitchy and coming on stronger than a simple text message.
For me, I will mix options 1 and 2, Perry. 1๏ธโฃ I send a personalized connection request. 2๏ธโฃ I send them a voice not for the second message. Many people are surprised by this way to do but, but they appreciate to ear my voice, it's more human. ๐
Het is net echt netwerken. Ook daar moet je het gesprek met ze aan gaan :-)

9moBeen watching some content this morning on this very topic! We grew rapidly when we had structure to our content and gave away secrets... almost all of our clients came via DM and I'd never seen them engage on our content before. I initially started on LinkedIn with the whole 'comment on others' posts to grow your following' strategy, but it was very slow and time-consuming. Now, my honest belief is in order to grow, you have to push valuable content and spend time in DM's This is an awesome post. Finding something relatable as a starting point shows that you've taken the time to see what they are all about. For me, point 4... Ask questions about a recent post. If they are posting about it, they are likely interested in the topic... people who are interested in a topic are always up for speaking about it! Have an awesome day!
