We're so excited about our new building!

WE ARE MOVING! Our new address will be 200 N Alpine Parkway.


The library will be closed from Monday, December 11, 2023 to Thursday, January 4, 2024 and most services will be unavailable.


Information about the Grand Opening Celebration will be shared soon!



Returning Materials

  • The book return will be closed from Saturday, December 9 at 3 pm to Wednesday, December 20.
  • Items can be returned to any other library in Dane County or when the book return opens on Wednesday, December 20 at our new address.

Holds Shelf

  • Holds can be picked up through Saturday, December 9 and will resume once we re-open.
  • If you pick up holds at Oregon, please suspend your holds or ask staff to change the pick up location.

What YOU need to know about holds!

Your Active Holds

  • Active holds not suspended by Tuesday, December 5 will be suspended by library staff and will resume in early January.
  • Saturday, December 9 is the last day to pick up holds at our current location. 
  • Holds not picked up by Saturday, December 9 will be requested again for pick up in early January at our new location.

Placing New Holds

If you place new holds while we are closed (from December 11 to January 4), please:


  • Choose a different pick-up library OR
  • Suspend the hold with a resume date of January 5
