Profile
Dan Funderburgh is a Brooklyn-based illustrator, artist, and wallpaper designer. Dan was born in Seattle and reared in the Midwest, receiving a BFA from the University of Kansas with a focus in illustration. After moving to New York in 2001, Dan established a partnership with the now Brooklyn-based wallpaper studio Flavor Paper, where his designs are hand screen printed. The wallpapers have been featured at the Museum of Art & Design and are a part of the permanent collections of the Cooper-Hewitt and Brooklyn Museum. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn. Previous clients include: Nixon, Nike, NYC MTA, The New York Times, Guinness, The Wyeth Hotel, Nest, le Meridien Hotels, Penguin UK, FSG, The Paris Review, Cole Haan, Palladium Boots, Chivas Regal, Espolon, HP, Lush, WeWork, Royal Mail, Brooks England, The American Cancer Society.
