Great location with sandy beach and shallow water a few footsteps from the house. Close to Suttons Bay, restaurants, beaches and bike trails.

This is a great location with the bay across the street with your own private beach and minutes from the village and hop lot. It could use a bit of tlc as the interior is showing its wear and tear; also there are limited to zero amenities so bring everything you need—also no ac in bedrooms but there are fans.

We had such a wonderful stay and appreciated the location and that we could bring our dog. The house was great for a small family and the management company did a great job answering our questions. The views were amazing and we were able to kayaks/paddleboard right from the property. The surrounding area has all sorts of activities So we stayed very busy! We hope to be back soon!

The house was in a great location, walkable to Suttons bay but out of the mix as well. We loved the private beach and views from the living room. Communication with fast and easy. Worth it to note that there is only one AC. They did have a bunch of large fans, we just hit a hot week there sleeping wise.

Wonderful property and very responsive host. We loved our time and our kids really enjoyed the dock and the beach. Couldn’t have picked a more convenient and relaxing location for our family’s vacation!

This was just what we were looking for on Labor Day weekend- a place we could bring the dog with beach access in the Traverse City/ Leelanau area. Now if you’re looking for a fancy place, this is not it. It’s very basic and no frills, but has everything we needed- functional kitchen and bathroom with a place to sleep. But when you walk out the front door- that’s what makes this place shine! Gorgeous views from the front onto Sutton’s Bay! But the private beach is the best. Simply walk right across the street ( not busy, local access only) and you have a nice little deck with a couple chairs and tables waiting for you right there. And a dock. Also, for nighttime, a nice fire pit built into your private beach with a couple more chairs. If you’re looking for a place to relax on your own private beach with everything you need literally one minute from your front door, this is it! About 20 minute drive to Traverse City, walkable to HopLot brewery, and Suttons Bay about 3 minutes away

Wonderful and relaxing view of the bay

Our stay at Northland's was an absolute dream. The location could not be better and the area is exceptionally quite for a relaxing getaway. Being right across the street from the beach allows for late night bonfires and the convenience of your home just a short walk away. My husband and I stayed at this location for our 1st anniversary, as we were married in Suttons Bay last year and it met every one of our expectations. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful home and location! The cottage was very clean and was stocked with all of the amenities listed. The pictures were accurate and you couldn't ask for a better beach, dock and firepit area. Our sunrise pictures are amazing. We loved staying here. :-)
