Posted on Jun 13, 2023 in Diversity and Inclusion

Emerging scholars in journalism, mass communication or related fields who reside in the Global South can apply.

The Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly (JMCQ), in partnership with the AEJMC Publications Committee, is launching the Global South Mentorship Program. The program will provide tips and strategies for publishing research articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Selected participants will work closely with the AEJMC Publications Committee and the JMCQ editorial team. The program will be tailored to international scholars and includes topics ranging from manuscript preparation and article submission to peer review and publication ethics.

Upon successful completion of the program, each participant will be invited to the AEJMC convention where they will receive a certificate of achievement.

The deadline is July 31.
