Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September I will be competing at The Roc England Triathlon in the Lake District in aid of Headway Salford, Trafford and North Manchester.
Having worked in the field of Acquired Brain Injury for over 10 years and been the Treasure for the charity for over 3 years, I am acutely aware of the serious impact sustaining such an injury has on the survivors and their families and I want to do everything I can to give something back, and help ease the burden, even if it's just a little bit.
Details can be found here:
As such, I will be competing at The Roc England on the 2nd of September, which is a race that consists of the following:
1) 1.5k swim in Lake WIndermere
2) 45.5k Bike Ride
3) 17.5k run up and down Scafell Pike (over 3000ft of ascent)
4) Another 45.5k Bike Ride
5) 1k run to finish
Total: 111k distance | 3,209ft of elevation | 6,916ft total ascent

I only set a modest target of £500, which I hit in 4 days so Ihave increased it to £1000 but please just give what you can afford. If we get more great, if not, every little helps.
Thanks so much.
Danny
Disclaimer: I have raced a number of triathlons in the past but nothing seemingly this silly!
