Marketing Assistant

£25,708 per annum
London Bridge (from September 2022)

Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books. In the UK, we are home to award-winning and bestselling authors and illustrators such as Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Liz Pichon and Philip Pullman, as well as brands including The Hunger Games, Horrible Histories and The Wonky Donkey.

We’re about creating joy for kids through reading for pleasure as well as supporting parents and teachers to build readers of the future and we have an opening for an energetic and can-do marketing assistant to help us do just that.

You’ll be:

• Working with the wider marketing team to support campaigns across our trade and schools channels.
• Keeping on top of the department admin.
• Preparing marketing assets for internal and external needs.
• Collating materials for catalogues and presentations.
• Keeping on top of multiple schedules.
• Updating our databases and systems with relevant information.
• Supporting  our schools events programme.

This is a support role and would suit a pro-active, highly organised individual who has the energy for a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be able to work to deadlines and be good at multi-tasking and using your own initiative. A good eye for detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
