Would you buy social selling training course from somebody that doesn't use social selling? Would you buy sky diving lessons from somebody who has never skydived? Would you buy driving lessons from somebody that doesn't drive? Would you buy sailing lessons from somebody that has never sailed? Would you buy #sales training from somebody without a track record in selling? So why are people buying "social selling training" from people that don't social sell? You would never buy driving lessons from somebody that doesn't drive! In this blog I discuss the need to be "buyer beware" when investing in #socialselling At the end of this article are links to more support to help you on your #virtualselling and #remoteselling journey If you are interested in more articles and videos on #digitalbusiness then follow #digitalorganization DLA ignite #salesleadership #salesenablement #salestips #leadership #prospecting

Can it be also like, "Would you love someone that doesn't love you back?" Kidding aside. I just started to follow you and I now began to fall for all of your deep-rooted thoughts Timothy. Thanks for sharing this insightful article. Not just about the social selling but also in all aspects like when you sell something, it is also like you're selling yourself. You sell your knowledge, your skills, and your capability. And since we're in the world of social media, you must either learn to execute it or allow yourself to be left behind. Looking forward to learning more from you, Timothy.

Great post Timothy and the best way to check if the expert does know about social is to go and check their social presence - no posts, unengaging content, low connections will tell you all you need to know.

Many persons who claim to be social selling experts on LinkedIn post products by displaying the price or go in for the pitch right after the connection. So the answer is definitely NOOOOOO!
