What To Eat For Gout
However, I don't think you should completely ignore how much high protein/high purine food you eat if you are seriously battling the gout beast.
All too often, the conversation about gout comes down to idea that you have to stop eating red meat - mainly beef. There are two sides to this that we need get out on the table.
First of all, if you're inner environment is particularly toxic and acidic, eating those high purine foods probably will give you a gout attack. But here's the question I always ask:
"Did you used to eat red meat and not get gout attacks? What changed?"
Do you think it was the food? Or was it how your body works? Yup - how your body works.
We live in a pretty toxic world and we make poor decisions about what we expose ourselves to, but, there are plenty of things we don't even know about or have control over? What do we do about that?
