Feedback on Volunteers' Week Tea for the Queen Event

On the 5th June, over 200 of our volunteers helped over 400 older people from our community celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Working with The Kensington and Chelsea Over 50s forum we put on a spectacular afternoon tea - themed as an indoor ‘street party’. Feedback has been fantastic. One guest commented, “I would have stayed alone at home, watching the celebrations on the TV with no one to speak to. Thank you for making my day so special in meeting people and having fun". This event would not have been possible without all you wonderful volunteers, so we would like to extend our thanks once again for making this such a special day.
