How to Make a Honey Deuce, the Most Popular Drink at the U.S. Open
The refreshing pink drink has been the event's trademark cocktail for nearly two decades.
The Kentucky Derby has the Mint Julep, Wimbledon has the Pimm's Cup, and when it comes to the U.S. Open, there's no drink quite as iconic as the Honey Deuce. Named for the tie score of 40-40 known in tennis as "deuce" as well as the tennis ball-esque honeydew melon balls that garnish the drink, the Honey Deuce has been the official cocktail of the Open since 2006. A refreshing mix of vodka, lemonade, and raspberry liqueur it is sure to get your tastebuds ready for the serve. In fact, the drink is so popular that this year they've even rolled out a canned version for fans in NYC. Not in the Big Apple? You can still recreate the Open's favorite drink at home—check out the full recipe below!
