Bumpair

Bumpair is a French start-up based in Paris & Strasbourg born in 2018, expert in safety of users of micro-mobility. Its vision is making micro-mobility safe for everyone. The company provides DREEM e-kickscooters with the first light-weight helmet in the world (91 grams) which can be directly integrated on scooters and bikes. The helmet's SAD (Shock Absorption Distribution) technology uses the volume of air to absorb shock, which made it compliant with safety standards, such as the norm CE EN1078. This product was developed after two years of R&D and is protected by several patents.

University of Gothenburg was established in 1891, and formally founded in 1954 through the amalgamation of this college with the Medical College, which had been established in 1949. The University of Gothenburg (UGOT) is environmentally certified and works actively for a sustainable development. Its campus hosts 47.500 students and 6,000 employees. The University of Gothenburg has recently established six strong research centres based on important and current societal issues. This effort, UGOT Challenges, is based on the idea that strong interdisciplinary research is needed to solve the current global societal challenges. The centres being established span a broad range of subjects from Future Chemical Risk Assessment and Management Strategies to Ageing and Health. All have clear interdisciplinary components. The university is also co-funding the Sustainable Transport Initiative - a multi- and interdisciplinary research program and collaboration between the UGOT and Chalmers University of Technology.
