ADA and Mental Health in Higher Ed: Current Case Law (8-24-22)

This webinar is presented by the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, a project of TransCen, Inc.

The session takes a closer look at current trends in case law involving students with mental health disabilities in higher education. Two attorneys from the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law discuss students’ rights and colleges’ responsibilities under the ADA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Fair Housing Act; how the Department of Justice and courts have ruled on these rights and responsibilities; and best practices colleges can use to support students with mental health disabilities.

Speakers: Lewis Bossing and Monica Porter, attorneys with the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law
