Episode 104: How to Rewrite Your Life Story: Louise Fitzgerald on Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs

In this episode of Mindflip Moments, I had the pleasure of speaking with Louise Fitzgerald, who shared the transformative moments that reshaped her self-beliefs and empowered her to rewrite her own story. Louise’s mindflip moment came when she realised the power of rewriting her story. Hearing it echoed back by a friend was the catalyst for change. By reshaping her narrative and actions, Louise redefined her self-worth and broke free from limiting beliefs. Episode 101: Turning "Have To" into "Get To": Kate's Path to Positivity

In today’s episode of Mindflip Moments, we’re joined by Kate Engler as she shares the simple yet profound mindset shift that transformed her daily life. Kate's mindflip moment centered around the power of changing one simple word: swapping "have to" with "get to." She realised that this shift in language transformed everyday tasks into opportunities, fostering gratitude and positivity. By saying, "I get to go to the gym" or "I get to work from home," Kate found a renewed sense of joy and choice in her daily life. This mindset shift not only altered her perspective but also had a positive ripple effect on those around her, helping to spread optimism and appreciation, even in challenging times. Kate Engler is the Founder of the Meet The Press MasterClass.   Kate breaks the rules of how businesses get publicity. Her MEET THE PRESS MASTERCLASS links journos directly with hand-selected business owners and allows journalists to hear multiple pitches in one go - direct from the client, with no ‘PR whitewashing’ and no more 'dud' pitches. What do journalists get out of this? Qualified businesses with juicy stories that they can immediately take to their viewers, readers or listeners.     Kate challenges the way publicity is harnessed by businesses, by giving business owners access to thousands of dollars of free media exposure without using the traditional PR agency model or needing her assistance beyond her highly regarded MasterClass.

Her journey through unexpected challenges has inspired her to find strength and purpose. Jennifer experienced two life-altering events five years ago that became her "Mindflip Moments." Episode 96: "The Power of Mindset: How Sharne Took Charge of Her Life"

Sharne's Mindflip Moment came during her second pregnancy when she realised the imbalance in her life. Running a law firm while managing family responsibilities, she found herself doing more than her husband, who refused to take paid paternity leave. From that point, she focused on taking control, breaking subconscious patterns, and claiming what she truly wanted in both her personal and professional life. Sharné Lategan is a Growth Mindset Coach and Motivational Speaker dedicated to helping female-led small-to-medium sized businesses grow and expand. Through her coaching, she focuses on the power of the subconscious mind, guiding business owners to overcome limiting beliefs and mental health challenges that may hold their companies back. By incorporating growth mindset principles and promoting better mental health practices, she empowers businesses to unlock their full potential and achieve lasting success. With Sharné's guidance, her clients create positive, long-lasting ripple effects that lead to stronger, more resilient businesses.

Episode 91: From Global Humanitarian to Social Entrepreneur: The Inspiring Journey of Sarah Morse

In this episode of Mindflip Moments, we had Sarah Morse with us. Sarah Morse experienced her first significant "mindflip" at 17 during a 10-day study tour in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Witnessing extreme poverty, famine, and children orphaned by AIDS made her realize the extraordinariness of her own life. Her second pivotal moment occurred recently when she and her children fell ill. Despite being exhausted and irritable, she continued working until she remembered her primary reason for starting a home-based business: to spend quality time with her family. This realization led her to prioritize her family and pause her work commitments. Sarah’s 20 years as a nurse and humanitarian have taken her around the globe. Sarah became fascinated by culture and the way it influences the way we think, work and behave. As a nurse, Sarah specialised in cancer services and palliative care, and as a humanitarian, she has worked with some of the world’s poorest people. Episode 89: Marie Alessi on Transforming Grief into Purpose and Power"

In this episode of Mindflip Moments, I had a chat with Marie Alessi, where she talked about how grief changed her, gave her a new perspective on life, and paved the path for everything she does today. Marie Alessi experienced two significant mindflip moments in her life. The first occurred when she lost her father at the age of 20. Ill-equipped to handle such profound grief, she felt unsupported and fell into a victimhood mindset. It wasn't until she was 30 that she recognized how much time she had lost. Her second mindflip moment came almost six years ago when her husband unexpectedly passed away from a brain aneurysm. Despite the shock, a prior conversation with her husband about facing such a situation helped her focus on creating the best possible life for herself and their boys. This early shift in her approach to grief marked a profound change in her perspective. Marie is a bestselling Author, TEDx and Keynote Speaker. After her husband unexpectedly passed from a brain aneurysm, she dedicated her life to allowing healing, and creating happiness for her young family. Becoming a widow at the age of 45 was nothing Marie had anticipated. Having a very different approach to grief, she started sharing her story in a few books, and well featured publications. This most beautiful Love legacy for her husband has paved the path to her Keynote “The Power of Grief”.

EPISODE 74: Rosemary Gattuso MindFlip Moment when she realised she was making a statement (and taking action) without any evidence.

I found it fascinating having Rosemary Gattuso on this week's episode of MindFlip Moments. She shared how she had negative assumptions that would impact her decision-making. They are a form of overthinking - an analysis that would focus on the weaknesses and what was wrong in a situation. Instead, she started to focus on the strengths and learning opportunities. Coming from a law background, she one day made a statement that she was going to take action on, that had no evidence. It was based on solely what was in thought. Rosemary then thought - What if I applied the rules of evidence to this instead. Rosemary Gattuso has been in alternate dispute resolution for over 15 years, specialising in family mediation and restorative justice practices.   Merging her experience as a family mediator with her study of neuroscience and trauma, she explores ways to live in a trauma-informed and strengths-based way.   As a chronic over-thinker, Rosemary experienced first-hand the transformative impact of rewriting overthinking into strengths reflection and is committed to sharing this with the world.
