What is the Semiconductor and Electronics Bootcamp?
NASAT Labs’ Semiconductor and Electronics Bootcamp Program (SEBPro) is a short-term program for individuals who wish to land a technician or engineering job in the semiconductor and electronics industry. Through live classes, hands-on learning, and mentorship, SEBPro learners will surely boost their edge over other applicants. They will be introduced to the specific processes, tools and equipment used in the industry, operate equipment and run various analyses, and build their portfolio of hands-on laboratory work.

Culminating Laboratory Work

During the last few stages of their course, SEBPro learners will conduct a series of laboratory analyses at NASAT Labs’ Failure Analysis and Material Characterization Division.

This course will equip students to become knowledgeable on the Failure Analysis Techniques applicable for the Semiconductor and Electronics companies in the Philippines. They will be exposed to the various instruments and procedures for doing the Failure Analysis. They will also be taught of the other necessary basic skill sets and processes that are typical to enter the semiconductor companies and electronics companies

    This course will equip students to become knowledgeable on the Reliability Testing Operations applicable for the Semiconductor and Electronics companies in the Philippines. They will be exposed to the various instruments and procedures for doing the Reliability Testing. They will also be taught of the other necessary basic skill sets and processes that are essential to enter the semiconductor and electronic companies.

    Course Description
    This course will equip students to become a Scanning Electron Microscope and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer (SEM-EDS) Operator. The students will undergo training from theory to actual operation and data interpretation for above 80 hrs. After this period, he will be ready to fill the requirements of the Semiconductor, Electronics and other high-tech industries looking for individuals with sufficient knowledge and experience in operating a Scanning Electron Microscope

    Just submit your application form and secure your payment.
    No, you do not need an Engineering course to apply. However, it would be easier for you to understand the discussion if you have an Engineering background.

    Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for Failure Analysis Engineer/Technician and Semiconductor Reliability Technician/Engineer. Tuesdays and Thursdays for SEM-EDS Operator.
    Our Technical Director will be the primary instructor for our courses. We will have guest instructors per topic, depending on time and schedule availability.
    Lectures will be done via Zoom. For days with hands-on learning, the venue will be in our Failure Analysis and Material Characterization laboratory in Muntinlupa.
    Recorded lectures are available upon request, together with live Q&A sessions. In some cases, live make-up classes may be scheduled with the instructor.
    Yes, certificates will be issued upon completion of the course provided that your payment has been settled.
