A day dedicated to helping all West Virginians find health coverage
There are 5.9% of West Virginians who are without health coverage. That’s over 100,000 of our friends, family, and neighbors who aren’t able to go to the doctor or get medications.
This needs to change.
WV Navigator and the WV Primary Care Association are teaming up to lower that number by starting an annual day dedicated to helping West Virginians find affordable, quality health insurance. Cover WV Day will take place on January 9th at locations around the state where anyone can come and get free assistance in finding health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Our goal is to help as many people as possible so we are offering over 20 locations all around the state.
