Renee Sweet

Zealot - Senior Producer

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sr. Producer Renee Sweet has spent the last decade in Entertainment Marketing producing on-air promos, trailers & 360 campaigns; working with both Theatrical and TV/Streaming clientele, including HBO, FX, Netflix, Lionsgate, IFC Films, Disney+, Amazon, Apple TV+, Saban Films and Magnolia Pictures. Renee says she’s “50% Creative and 50% Logic… she loves spreadsheets & budgets as much as she loves sound design & manipulating an editorial cut.” Before getting into marketing, Renee spent 10 years teaching filmmaking workshops to teens through Summer and Winter programs. She studied cinema at San Francisco State University and has a BA in Film Production. Renee is still involved in the independent film community, producing and editing films through side passion projects. And yes… Sweet is her real family name.
