Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery

For 73 years, Scouts from the Greater St. Louis Area Council have honored the veterans buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery every Memorial Day by placing American flags at their grave sites.


This solemn and impactful day is one of the longest running Memorial Day events within the Boy Scouts of America

Jewish Committee on Scouting Good Turn - at eight local Jewish cemeteries

The Jewish Committee on Scouting is also proud to assist Jewish War Veterans Post 644 by placing over 8,000 American flags on the graves of veterans at eight local Jewish cemeteries. All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Siblings and Scouters are invited to help place over 8000 Flags on the Graves of our War Veterans.
