Until we get back to traveling to all the beautiful places in the real world, i did this eevee render to make those itchy feet even more itchy.

How did you do that surf? Was it video projected onto the mesh, or is that procedurally created within the shader nodes?

Not sure what’s going on with the waves, but it takes me out of the video. It looks like reflections are popping, or something else just looks wrong…
Other than that I’m really getting holiday vibes of this shot, and also like to know how you set this up in Eevee.

This is amazing - I am impressed that this is done in Eevee, inspires me to experiment more with Eevee instead of Cycles.
Really like your concept of showing the person swimming in the clear water from the air. It looks so beautiful and inviting.

There are three meshes, one for the water, one for the surf and one for the beach. The surf mesh has an animated texture and a shrink wrap modifier to make it flow with the water mesh.

Super nice. Great wave animation and water shaders. And the sound design is simple and immersive. Great work here…especially for Eevee.

Thanks for your feedback! Maybe the displacement of the water mesh is a little too noisy. I will render a smoother version when i have the time.

Supercool, especially impressed with the waves on the beach! I saw the video you posted but I’d love to know something more in depth!
