Church Family,

Over the last couple of Sundays I’ve introduced THE FOURTH QUARTER CHALLENGE—a set of three goals for our church for the remainder of our 2021 year. COVID hindered our church from moving forward in many of the ways we desired in 2020. Now it’s nearly October and yet again COVID has sidetracked many of the ministries and aspirations of our church for a large part of this year, too.

However, the year’s not over yet. We’ve still got a few months to try and make something meaningful out of 2021. I believe the following three goals will help finish the year on a strong note.

GOAL #1 – WORSHIP
I’m asking you to commit to at least 75% attendance in our Sunday morning service during the months of October, November, and December.

GOAL #2 – WORD
I’m asking you to commit to read a chapter of the Bible at least day five days a week for the months of October, November, and December.

GOAL #3 – WITNESS
I’m asking you to commit to find at least one lost person that you will try to reach for Jesus during the months of October, November, and December by (1) praying for them, (2) inviting them to church, and (3) sharing the gospel with them.

If we can get a significant group within our church—that’s you!—to take this challenge seriously I guarantee that our church will be greatly strengthened by Christmas. I think we might well begin to experience true and genuine revival.

Let’s finish strong,
Bro. Deek
