Hi, Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯 thanks for sharing this anecdote with all of us, you know I'm your fan and your book "SOCIAL SELLING"It is the best that I have read on this subject and I would even dare to say that it is the best that has been released on the market, however, I do not agree 100% with what you comment here and I am going to explain myself briefly. To begin let me say that I'm conservative so I may make decisions with caution and always try to minimize risks; I don't put all my eggs in one basket, I diversify, do a quick trial and error test, and then add more to the one that returns the most results. I also have to share with you that I consider that the concept of cold calling was deprecated a long time ago, I do not think that it has died, but all of us who hope to obtain results do our homework and investigate our clients and their business model before contacting them, so it would be in any case an unexpected call? I think we should avoid generalizing and that there is no single recipe that works for everything, Factors such as the type of product or service or the location can influence the most appropriate channels to reach our customers and I will give you an example. In 2016 I was working at BMC Software at the Dublin sales hub and like North America, we used several channels to reach our clients, we were not married to any, however, in LATAM they did it only through Social selling. We all obtained good results, they were more innovative, entrepreneurial, led by my former partner and friend Alejandro Cabral. Six years later I can say that I continue to be cautious and that I like to evaluate first, but I have been able to understand firsthand the power of social selling and how Timothy would say the importance of creating and nurturing your community. Regarding the content with which you are going to feed it, you must bear in mind that it has to be constant, varied, in different formats and that video is king.

Buying motions have evolved so significantly recently, you would suspect all sales leaders would want to keep their teams at the leading edge. The winners are making sure that their sales motions are relevant today and tomorrow.
