Please welcome Mrs. Amy Baxter to First Baptist School! She will be teaching math on the James Island campus.
Mrs. Baxter graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma in 2016 with a degree in Math Education. After graduating, she worked as an engineer for two years. She moved to Louisville to get married and be with her husband. They then moved to Germany in 2019, where he worked for a church as their youth pastor. They felt the Lord calling us back to the states, so her husband accepted a job as the Family Ministry Pastor at Fort Johnson Baptist Church and they have been in Charleston since June. Mrs. Baxter is excited to be at FBS because teaching students is her passion. She loves seeing them grow and learn, and she is so happy she gets to be a part of that here at FBS!
