That is such a great comment by Eric Doyle (FISM), I’m going to hang onto that one… with credit of course. And this “cold calling and email marketing is a confrontation not a conversation”. That says it all really. It’s time we shift from a content-only strategy to both a content strategy and a comment strategy. Activate one every day, or alternate them, and if you’re going to over index on one, be it the comment strategy. Three reasons: 1. Comments are content, your own original content. 2. Comments done well are rich additions to the conversation, they show your expertise, or your perspective, all of which brings you to life. 3. Comments are all about giving to someone, and their audience. The richest interactions start when you lead with a giving mindset. Thanks for the reminder and proof points Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯. Great post and a must read 💯

Timothy (Tim) Hughes 提姆·休斯 honored to be mentioned in this article and (to no surprise) I love this blog. This really is a tipping point for sales and business overall…are we going to keep talking at people (same philosophies from WW2 propaganda), or, are we going to rediscover the art of conversation.

Old habits tend to die very hard and this is so true for social selling. People and companies have not grasped the true potential of social media. When that happens and that is not a story of some distant future, the world of sales would implode
