Xbox & maharishi’s DPM Studio Team up on Limited-Edition Controller
With only 1,000 units available to purchase.
After unveiling its Midnight Forces II Special Edition wireless controller earlier this fall, Xbox and Microsoft have now announced their upcoming collaboration with maharishi’s DPM Studio.
The limited-edition controller is aptly dressed in a white, grey, and neon green “aquabrush print” pattern designed by DPM Studio — the camouflage division of Hardy Blechman’s London-based streetwear label, maharishi, and was inspired by the traditional 1950’s lizard-brushstroke camouflage and the River Thames in London. This exclusive controller and print was made exclusively for the upcoming X019 event being held in London next week.
Interested fans will be able to purchase the limited-edition DPM Studio x Xbox DPM X019 Wireless Controller starting Thursday, November 14 at 2 p.m. PST/10 p.m. BST over on Microsoft’s online store for a retail price of $99 USD. Unfortunately only 1,000 units will be available. It comes equipped with a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, rubberized diamond grip, and Bluetooth technology, and is compatible with all Xbox One consoles.
