H6 Julietta LT | Concept

Good evening,

Just wanted to share a personal project which is an extension of an older concept I did about a year ago called the “Julietta”. I wanted to design a sportier spec of the car with HRE wheels as a track edition concept study. This became the “Long Tail” version of the car. Designed in Blender 2.8 and continued in Blender 2.9

You can find the full project here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/127331507/H6-Julietta-(Long-Tail)-CGI

Great end to the week! Thanks Bart! Have a great weekend!

Looks amazing, imagine if it existed in real life

Excitement on wheels, definitely. Perhaps a little more emphasis on a reference to the original Giula/Giuletta/Julietta/Duetto cars would motivate Alfa Romeo to build your design? Put Tesla to shame, bring more fun back to driving, etc. Great project. Do more.

It’s an interesting field. I’ve had inquiries by private builders, but since I already have work out there that’s already in engineering. I feel lucky either way.

You’re on the #featured row! :+1:

How do you check surface curvature in 2.9?

Nice work.

I think it would look better without the spoiler though.

Well for me I have various screens setup for different surface checks. Mostly visual through zebra strips or high gloss mat caps. The more differences in lighting you can reflect, the better you can shape the surface

Thanks man. I do have an older version without the spoiler. This was a way to try something different and wild

This is one of the best looking car works I have ever seen. Superb lighting. Inspiring. Thanks!

I am still trying to get proper shading compatible with curvature detection.
Reflective scene lighting gloss has gone, so it is hard to make proper setup that could satisfy such a purpose.
New default matcaps are mostly garbage as well, so I tried to fix some of them.
