Warning! Spoilers for W.E.B. of Spider-Man #2 by Marvel Comics below.

In order to stop a hologram version of the Green Goblin, Spider-Man and Iron Man 3's Harley Keener are teaming up with the other brilliant students of Tony Stark's W.E.B. program. In a new preview for W.E.B. of Spider-Man #2, two of Stark's proteges are forced to band together to fight a projection of one of Marvel's great villains.

Earlier this month, Marvel Comics introduced Harley Keener to comic canon for the first time ever. Originally debuting in Iron Man 3 (played by Ty Simpkins), Keener was a young kid who helped a down-and-out Tony Stark with his inventive skills. Keener also appeared in Avengers: Endgame at Stark's funeral. In the new W.E.B. of Spider-Man comic, Keener joined Lunella Lafayette and Squirrel Girl among the gifted students as part of Stark's W.E.B. program, where they could work on engineering experiments and tech. Immediately, Keener and Spider-Man sparred over who was Stark's true mentee but had to put aside their differences to fight an evil hologram.

In Marvel's new preview of W.E.B. of Spider-Man #2 by Kevin Shinick, Alberto Alburquerque, Rachelle Rosenberg, and Travis Lanham, Peter Parker, Keener, Luna, Squirrel Girl, Onome and Spider-Bot deal with a virus in the form of holograms based on some of Marvel's greatest villains. The holograms channel their energy into one single villain, the Green Goblin. The hologram shows some serious strength, knocking Spider-Man across the room. The powerful construct seems to be too much for the teens - as it can even speak - but the group decides the best strategy to take it down is to fight together.

Squirrel Girl tells the team just because the hologram is bigger and stronger than the others, doesn't mean they aren't able to take it down. Keener starts a countdown and once it ends, the teen heroes combine their inventions together and send a blast of energy at the Green Goblin. Keener even uses his gauntlet, which seems to work quite effectively.

The preview doesn't reveal if Spider-Man, Keener, and the rest of the young heroes are successful in taking down the Green Goblin. But, considering it's their first team-up, it wouldn't be surprising if this was the turning point for the youngsters in finally working together. While Harley Keener isn't aware Peter Parker is Spider-Man, perhaps, now that he's fought alongside the web-slinger, the pair will put aside their differences and focus on the tasks at hand: creating some cool tech that would impress Tony Stark! W.E.B. of Spider-Man #2 is comic book stores next week.
