If you’ve been out and about lately, you may have come across a super-freaky new fad. People have started painting tiny faces on their faces. Yes, you read right. A tiny face on their face. Just take a look at the photos. Where does this horror come from you ask? It’s a challenge that recently reared its tiny head on TikTok. And now, there are even tutorials on how to achieve an amazing "tiny face" in three steps. Here they are:
1. It All Begins with Concealer and Contour
2. Creating New Body Parts
3. Add a Scarf or a Mask and Wiggle Your nose

You may ask like I did (and still do), why is this a trend? Well, in a world where covering part of your face is part of daily life, I suppose people who are into makeup were getting tired of not being able to show off their skills. Then there’s boredom, and of course, there’s a whole branch of psychology behind wearing makeup. Studies say that it's either for camouflage or seduction. If you cover the lower half of your face, you’re pretty camouflaged already, which leaves seduction (?!). Somehow, I don’t think that a tiny face on your face can be seductive in any way – no matter how sultry your eye makeup is or how ravishingly red you make your nosemouth. A nosemouth can never ever be sexy, people!
