Canadian Mobster Pasquale "Fat Pat" Musitano Killed Over Weekend

SOURCE-Notorious Hamilton mobster Pat Musitano, head of the Musitano crime family, died in a Friday afternoon shooting in Burlington, Ont., police say.

Halton Region police say they responded to reports of a shooting at about 1:10 p.m. at 484 Plains Rd. E., the site of a small business plaza. The shooting took place in front of Pro Patio Furniture.

Big mafia news out of Canada from over the weekend. I didn't think the mafia had much of a reign over Canada, but turns out I am very wrong. Some even say that the mafia is more powerful in Canada than it currently is in America. 

The mobster that was killed was Pasquale "Fat Pat" Musitano, the head of the Musitano crime family. It appears as if the Musitano crime family has slowly been getting phased out in Hamilton, but "Fat Pat" wanted to keep his power. The fact "Fat Pat" made it this far was impressive in itself. 

SOURCE-Close calls and brushes with death had stalked the scion of the Musitano crime family for years.

He survived one shooting that peppered his home with bullet holes in 2017, and another, just over a year before his death, that sent him to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

"He was a dead man walking," said Antonio Nicaso, a Mafia expert who teaches courses on organized crime at Queen's University in Kingston, Ont.

"In the world of the Mafia, revenge does not lapse. Revenge does not have a statute of limitations."

The rival family in Hamilton is the Papalia Famly, who also operates out of Italy. 

Rumor is that they are behind this murder. The Musitano family was behind the killing of Johnny Papalia (founder of Papalia family) in 1997. Revenge is a dish best served cold. 

As mentioned above, Musitano was living on borrowed time. He drove around in an armored Caddilac. From the looks of it, this will most likely be the end of the Musitano family reign in Canada.
