Couples have found innovative ways to express their love for each other during this circuit breaker period.

Some have gone for virtual dates.

Others have made use of food delivery platforms to pass on messages.

Celebrating first year anniversary

Adding to this list is one woman in Singapore, who requested that the food delivery rider help wish her boyfriend "happy anniversary".

She took to Twitter to share an account of this, along with screenshots of her conversation with both the food delivery rider and her boyfriend.

According to Jaiya_zuruck on Twitter, she said she wanted to thank a Foodpanda rider for following her request.

Apparently, she had ordered food for her boyfriend. She then told the rider to tell her boyfriend "Excuse me, did you forget your anniversary?"

She also added that it would be a nice touch if he could also "add a 'stupid' at the end of the sentence".

The Foodpanda rider apparently did everything as requested, according to a separate conversation involving Jaiya and her boyfriend.

In response? He apparently said to the delivery rider, "Thank you babe it's been a good one year."

10/10 service.

Jaiya also said that unfortunately, the Foodpanda app does not have a tip function so she could not tip him.

Nevertheless, she was grateful that he had made her anniversary a "pleasant one".
