The Circle Bar Roundup might be just the thing your quarantined soul longs for if you’ve grown weary of livestreamed events. Billed as a “drive-in music festival,” the multi-act show is set to take place this Saturday,
May 16 at the Circle Bar Ranch in Truscott, Texas, just over three hours northwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The lineup already looks worth the trip. Fort Worth DJ Justin Frazell of 95.9 The Ranch will host the all-day affair featuring Wade Bowen, William Clark Green, Sam Riggs and Austin Allsup, with more artists to be announced. Viewers will be able to enjoy the concert from their vehicles.
According to the concert’s Facebook page, the Circle Bar Roundup’s mission is “to help in setting an example for Covid-19 compliant music festivals.”
There will be no food, beverage or merchandise sales, but attendees will be able to bring their own alcohol into the venue. In order to ensure social distancing, ticket sales will be capped below what’s typical, and all attendees will be required to sign a waiver form upon entry. While face masks and gloves are highly recommended, they will not be required.
Single-night camping will be available for the night of the event, with a bare-bones option and a VIP option including water, electric and sewage hookups. All individual attendees will be required to have a ticket, and each vehicle will be required to have a vehicle pass for entry. The price for individual admission is $25, with prices for vehicle passes ranging from $50-$250, depending on which row you want to park in for the show.
