About this event

Please join us for a special farm-to-table dining experience at Long Stone Farm in Lovettsville, VA. The Wisch Family, owners of Long Stone Farm, have generously offered to host one of their sought-after “Sunday Supper’s” in support of Loudoun Therapeutic Riding (LTR). The evening will include a farm tour, a multi- course dinner prepared by Between The Hills Events team Reid & Allison Badger featuring products from Long Stone Farm, and bluegrass music by Ben Walters.

This is a casual, adults-only, event with a focus on the farm and the food – a perfect way to spend an evening while benefitting LTR (a portion of your ticket price goes to LTR). Spots are limited, so don't delay reserving your table!

Farm owners, Justin & Casey Wisch, will provide a 45-minute educational hay wagon tour of the farm. There will be conversation and demonstrations on livestock production, soil health, agricultural policy, rotational grazing, forage planting and grazing, multi-species grazing, local wildlife and more! The Wisch family will show you how beneficial livestock are to the environment and our ecosystems when properly managed. Enjoy the evening connecting with the land and watching livestock graze under the open sky.

Appetizers and beverages will be served upon arrival. Music, dinner and merriment will follow the farm tour where you will be served a multi-course supper in Hidden Covey Barn, the Wisch family's historic bank barn. Virginia has the soil to produce quality grapes and productive livestock and the evening will celebrate both. The menu will be released closer to the event.

Reservations are required to hold your seat and plate for the evening. Tickets include farm tour and supper. A selection of wine and beer will be available for additional purchase throughout the evening. Group bookings are encouraged. Tables are arranged based on group reservations, which will be confirmed before the event by phone.

5:00 pm ARRIVAL / 5:30 pm FARM TOUR / 6:30 pm SUPPER

The menu will be posted at a later date. This event is for adventurous folks who love freshly prepared food. While we are happy to accommodate allergies, all menus will always include Loudoun County's best and most sustainably produced meat, dairy and produce.

Please understand Long Stone Farm is a production farm and not an event venue. Please wear casual footwear. This event is rain or shine. This event is for adults only.

Loudoun Therapeutic Riding embraces the power of horse-assisted services to promote well-being and community inclusion for people with physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges.

Founded in 1974, LTR was the original pilot program for therapeutic riding in Virginia. The program was created by Loudoun County 4-H Leader Barbara Baird and Journalist and LCPS School Board Member Leonard Warner under the auspices of the Loudoun County Agricultural Extension Service. For 45 years, we’ve connected people with physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges to the healing power of horses.

Long Stone Farm is a grass-based diversified livestock operation located in Lovettsville, VA at the base of Short Hill Mountain. Long Stone produces pastured pork, beef, chicken and eggs on over 200 acres in Loudoun County. Long Stone Farm is owned and farmed with care by Justin and Casey Wisch, and their children Piper, Boone and Timber. The Wisch family focuses on producing high-quality meat and eggs in managed grazing systems that are beneficial to our livestock and surrounding ecosystems.
