What is the Hometown Challenge?
Boise State students develop projects that address a specific challenge or issue within their local community that can be completed over eight summer weeks (June 5 – August 11).
A successful Hometown Challenge project connects to a student’s field of study and/or their Boise State experience and can articulate how it promotes some of the following career readiness skills: Teamwork/Collaboration, Problem Solving, Leadership, and Global/Intercultural fluency.
