It is a "single/multi-port modular endoscopic surgery robot" developed by Zhongguancun enterprise Beijing Surgerii Technology Co.

With this device, a surgeon, guided by stereoscopic high-definition images in a 3D display, can direct various surgical tools to complete precise and minimally invasive procedures.

Surgerii is a Zhongguancun technology enterprise devoted to the independent research and development, production and sales of a new-generation robot-assisted endoscopic surgery system, and formulation of a fully intelligent operation plan that combines preoperative planning, intraoperative procedures and postoperative management.

The new-generation surgery system allows both single-port and multi-port operations, which can improve surgical precision and alleviate doctors' fatigue.

Since it started commercial operation in 2017, Surgerii has successfully developed various models of endoscopic surgical robot systems.

According to an R&D engineer of Surgerii, the reason why the surgical robot can complete so meticulous an operation is that Surgerii has made a breakthrough in the research of multi-backbone continuum mechanisms, i.e. "precision operation of endoscopic surgery".

With this breakthrough, doctors in urinary surgery, thoracic surgery and general surgery departments can perform multi-port endoscopic surgery or single-port endoscopic surgery according to patients' condition, and reduce patient trauma.

What is perhaps just as impressive is that the surgical robot can peel raw quail eggs while keeping the inner part intact.

Now Surgerii has dozens of senior R&D engineers who have rich experience in the design and R&D of mechatronic robots and medical devices.

The engineers are mostly from world-renowned medical companies such as Medtronic, Siemens, and GE, and have 5 to 12 years of experience in the R&D of surgical tools and medical equipment. Their degrees and diplomas are from advantageous engineering colleges such as the University of Michigan, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tianjin University, and the Harbin Institute of Technology.
