Three Country Border is know in German as Dreiländereck and, for my surprise, it isn’t in Aachen. The point where the countries meet is located in the dutch province of Limburg, in a small city called Vaals. This is why the hill you have to climb to enjoy this meetings of border is called Vaalserberg and it’s the highest point in mainland Netherlands. So, when you visit Dreiländereck, you are also visiting the highest dutch mountain.

My first time visiting a three-country border was when I visited Aachen, the westernmost city in Germany. It took me a few hours on a train to get there, but I didn’t care.

Berlin is full of surprises, and one charming spot

Berlin is full of surprises, and one charming spot in #Neukolln is Buschrosenplatz. While it seems ordinary from the ground, it reveals something almost magical from above.

My interest was sparked while exploring the former Blub Berlin construction site. Browsing satellite images on Google Maps, I noticed a peculiar shape that resembled a child with raised arms. Was it real or just a glitch?

Determined to see for myself, I grabbed my drone and biked to Neukölln one November morning in 2021. From the ground, you cannot see anything different. But once you're flying above it, a human-like figure appears!

This is what the Schöneberg Gasometer looked like in the summer of 2020, when you could still climb up to the top and see Berlin.

A few months after I shot this video, construction work started, and now there are offices inside the old gasometer. I couldn't disagree more, but I'm not in charge of making decisions on this kind of stuff.

Too bad. It was cool to fly around it and go up there.
