This is one of those books that’s been on my radar for ages, but I just never seem to have found the time to fit it in. It’s a wonderful concept, and the setting sounds interesting too. One day!
I found the setting to be fascinating, FictionFan. And it is an interesting concept. I think Braithwaite carries it off well, too. There’s biting criticism, but it doesn’t feel like preaching, and there’s some well-placed wit that keeps it from getting bogged down. If you get to it, I hope you’ll like it!
