Comedian and Netflix star David A. Arnold has died at the age of 54, his family has announced.

As reported by Variety, Arnold passed away on Wednesday, 7 September 2022. Family members revealed that Arnold died “peacefully’ at his home due to “natural causes.”
“David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devasted by this loss.”
Arnold is survived by his wife, Julie L. Harkness and his two daughters, Anna Grace and Ashlyn Elizabeth.

David Anthony Arnold was born on 15 March 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Arnold began performing stand-up comedy in 1997. He performed at the Canadian Montreal Comedy Festival, on Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx and Cedric the Entertainer, The Tom Joyner Show, Baisden After Dark, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, ComicView, The Mo’Nique Show, Entourage, and Def Comedy Jam.
He served as writer and producer for the Netflix revival series Fuller House. Arnold wrote episodes of several comedy shows, including Meet the Browns, The Rickey Smiley Show, and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
In 2021, Arnold created the Nickelodeon show That Girl Lay Lay and served as showrunner for the series. Arnold appeared in several TV series, including Meet the Browns, A Series of Unfortunate People, and The Tony Rock Project.
David had his own stand-up comedy special on Netflix, David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina. He has another 2022 Netflix stand-up comedy special, which premiered on 19 July 2022, called It Ain’t For The Weak.
