Try this next time you're trying to get access to power within an account: Instead of asking: ❌ "Who is responsible for X? Can you give me an intro?" 💡 Try mapping out the account in advance and educating the prospect HOW to buy: --- ✅ "Typically we invite (role] at this stage to make sure the project is aligned with a priority objective. That way we don't waste time on something that's gonna get shut down down the line. What would you still need from me to feel comfortable looping in [name]?" --- 💡 People are generally averse to giving out information but they're quick to correct you if you have your facts wrong so don't be afraid to name drop. One of the best-kept secrets to success is to “Be Cool.” To clarify, being cool doesn’t mean you have great fashion or thousands of followers. Anyone can be cool! 🔋 Being cool means being someone who leaves people energized vs drained. No one wants to work with people who leave them feeling depleted.
