Continue reading to see the latest American Idol betting odds. I will break down the best prop betting markets for this season and give you my predictions. Also, I will give you tips to help you get the most out of your American Idol betting experience.

American Idol Betting Odds

As the show progresses, you will be able to find odds to win American Idol for specific contestants. At this point in the competition, though, you are betting off making futures bets about the winner.

BetUS Sportsbook, for instance, is offering the following props on American Idol season 22.

  • The gender of the winner
  • The age of the winner

Betting on these props early in the competition will help make the entire season more exciting. You also have the benefit of not having your entire betting slip derailed if your favorite singer gets eliminated early.

Gender of American Idol Season 22 Winner

  • Male (-115)
  • Female (-125)

One of the best prop bets to make on this season of American Idol is to wager on the gender of the winning contestant. This bet is easy to make, and both male and female contestants have had strong showings in the past.

Sports betting sites have female contestants (-125) as the slight favorite in the latest American Idol odds. In the end, though, it will be up to America to vote for their favorite contestants to take home the victory this season.

Male (-115)

The latest odds for male contestants to win American Idol show them as slight underdogs. The men are listed at -115 in this futures wager.

Each of the last three Idol winners, Iam Tongi, Noah Thompson, and Chayce Beckham, have all been men. Tongi, last year’s winner, was just 18 years old, making him one of the youngest people to ever win the show. The last woman to win the show was Just Sam, who won in Season 18.

There are plenty of talented men in this year’s competition who could win. A few contestants to watch include Blake Proehl, Jack Blocker, and Quintavious Johnson.

Female (-125)

BetUS has the women of season 22 as slight favorites in the latest American Idol betting odds. The women are listed at -125, putting them just ahead of their male counterparts.

As I mentioned above, the latest three seasons have all been won by men. In fact, just seven of the previous 21 winners have been women. This is somewhat surprising given the fact that three of the first four winners were women.

Season 22 is loaded with talented female artists who are worthy of winning American Idol. Some of the top talents to keep an eye on include Abi Carter, Elleigh Francom, and Hailey Mia.

Age of American Idol Season 22 Winner

Another exciting futures wager to make on American Idol Season 22 is the age of the winner. The show is open to anyone between the ages of 15 and 29. For this wager, BetUS split the age range into three groups.

  • 15-20 years old (+150)
  • 21-25 years old (+175)
  • 26+ years old (+200)

The youngest group of contestants, ages 15 to 20, are the favorites at +150. They are closely followed by the contests ages 21 to 25 (+175). The oldest group, contests ages 26 and up, have the longest odds at +200.

15-20 years old (+150)

Contestants in the 15 to 20-year-old age group have the best odds of winning this season of American Idol. BetUS has this age group listed at +150 in the latest American Idol winner odds.

A total of seven previous winners have been from this age group. Notable winners include Kelly Clarkson, the first-ever winner, and Iam Tongi, the most recent winner.

No contestants aged 15 or 16 have ever won the show. Jordin Sparks and Scotty McCreery, who won Season 6 and Season 10, respectively, both won at the age of 17.

21-25 years old (+175)

The age group with the second-best odds is contestants between 21 and 25 years old. This group of singers is listed at +175 in the current odds to win American Idol Season 22. 11 of the previous 21 winners were in this age group when they won the show.

Prior to Iam Tongi’s victory last season, three straight winners had fallen within this age group. Notable winners from earlier seasons that fit this age group include Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, and Candice Glover.

This age group has produced the most winners, but it only has the second-best odds to win again this year. Given the history of the first 21 seasons, this age group could be a great pick at +175 odds.

26+ years old (+200)

Rounding out the betting options for this prop wager are the singers in the age 26 and up category. Singers in this category are listed at +200 to win it all this season.

Only three contestants ages 26 or older have won American Idol. Taylor Hicks and Nick Fradiani were both 29 when they won season 5 and season 14, respectively. Trent Harmon was 26 when he won season 15 back in 2016.

All three contestants to win from this group have been men. So, if you are planning to pick this age group for this prop wager, then you may also want to wager on a man to win.

American Idol Season 22 Predictions

The American Idol winner prop odds above are great options for betting on season 22. Here are my American Idol predictions for these future wagers.

A Woman Wins American Idol Season 22

The female contestants this season are slight favorites to win at -125. I think the women of season 22 will do enough to get the job done and take home the win this year. The longest winning streak by one gender was five seasons, but I think the women will stop the men’s current winning streak at three.

Prediction: Woman (-125)

A Contest Aged 21-25 Wins American Idol Season 22

For the other American Idol prop bet at BetUS I would take the middle option. Contestants ages 15-20 (+150) have the best odds, but I would take contestants ages 21-25 (+175) instead.

As I mentioned above, this age group has produced more than half of the previous winners of American Idol. I believe another winner of the singing show will come out of this age group this year.

Prediction: 21-25 (+175)

American Idol Betting Tips

American Idol has been one of the most popular singing competitions since it premiered in 2002. Here are three tips to help you get the most out of betting on the latest American Idol odds.

Watch the Show

The easiest way to improve your odds of making the right bets is to watch the show. Watching American Idol will help you learn more about the contestants this season and potentially give you an edge over other bettors. It will also help you decide which singers to bet on this season.

Listen to American and the Judges

Another way to improve your chances of picking the right American Idol betting odds is to listen to the judges and America. Singers who barely escape elimination usually do not last much longer. Knowing who the judges and the voting public like the most can help you predict who will stand alone at the end of the season.

Use Sports Betting Bonuses

Last but not least, you should also use sports betting bonuses to maximize your bankroll for entertainment betting. BetUS has great welcome bonuses for new members, including a 150% crypto bonus worth up to $3,750 in bonus funds. There are awesome reload and referral bonuses, too, so returning members can also claim bonuses to build their bankrolls.

Which American Idol Odds Will You Bet On?

The latest American Idol betting odds are full of exciting opportunities for fans of the singing competition. You can wager on the gender and the age of the winner of season 22. The show just aired the fifth and final episode of auditions, so the winner of the season is already on the show.

Check out the list above for the latest odds to win American Idol. I break down two exciting prop bets that are available for season 22. After reading my breakdown, you can sign up at BetUS Sportsbook and wager on this season’s latest odds.
