If you're not using videos in tech sales, wyd? Here are 4 ways I use videos to close more deals: 1. Prospecting - common sense. I use all of the research I have create 30-40 second prospecting videos and I make sure to use a whiteboard with their name and logo on it to stand out. 2. Discovery - after most discovery calls, I'll send ~1m video going over what we covered on the call, action items, and what we'll be focused on moving forward. 3. Multi-threading - see extra invites on the call and haven't met them yet? Send a 15 second video to them introducing yourself! (ask for a 5 min call in the video) 4. Familiar face to the decision maker - if you haven't been connected with the decision maker, send them a video mentioning that you've been working with the team and that it's been a great experience. For example, if you've been working with a VP of Marketing and haven't met the CMO, send the CMO a video. Last thing you want to do is ask for money the first time you cross paths with the person that signs the paper. Most people talk about using video but rarely do it. Then a small amount of people that do it often typically stop at prospecting. It can open up so many doors for ya.

How about videos threatening them if they do not purchase your product / service? Joking - great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Would be really valuable to somebody like me to see an example of a good video outreach and what some things to include in that 30-40 second video and things to avoid

Because nothing says trust me like cold-calling someone's inbox with your face in 4K before they've even had their morning coffee! 😂

I’ve also used video as a mini demo follow up. Such as if a prospect had questions about a particular feature within the product as a follow up, I’d send a video walking through that feature 5-7mins or less if possible! It has worked wonders!

I think peephole don’t use if for three reasons: 1. Expectations too high 2. Don’t know how to speak concisely 3. Spend too much time making videos. Imagine if you go to leave a voicemail, but spend 30 minutes trying to perfectly record it? By the end you’re like “shoot bro that wasn’t even worth it” if they don’t respond. Gotta be able to make it worth your time, so recording times gotta be fast or else you start feeling like you’re wasting your time.
