February has flown by! Besides kicking off our Polkadot crowdloan campaign, releasing our 2024 roadmap, and working on a treasury proposal, we have opened up the Integritee Network Governance mechanism to all TEER token holders. Scroll through our monthly wrap-up to explore!

Business Updates

Releasing the 2024 Roadmap
At the start of last month, we also released our roadmap for 2024, which comprises all the milestones we want to achieve and tasks we want to complete throughout this year. It includes the release of updated versions of our SDK, the launch of Incognitee’s Public Testnet, and a DEX listing, among other things. Interested in knowing all that we have planned? Check here.

Kick-off of the Polkadot Parachain Crowdloan
Integritee’s crowdloan campaign kicked off on February 7th and it’s still going on, so pitch in with DOT to help us renew our slot on Polkadot and get rewarded for it with TEER. We have gathered more than 24,000 DOT (>200’000 USD) until the end of February. For more info and contributions, access the Official crowdloan website.

Polkadot Treasury Proposal
Another important announcement from February has to do with Incognitee: the Polkadot treasury proposal to support our privacy sidechain has passed with 70,5% of ayes (valued at 6,2M DOT) from 436 votes. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to enhancing privacy and security within the blockchain ecosystem.

Integritee Network Governance
Governance is key to any decentralized web3 project. Our project reached a stage where we can now enable referendums related to Integritee, and actively include the wider community of TEER holders to participate in Integritee Governance and to decide about the future direction of the Integritee Network. You can follow all the ongoing and past referenda and Treasury proposals on our Governance Platform.

Integritee Network Treasury: Applications Open
Transaction fees on the Integritee Network are collected in an on-chain treasury. Treasury funds are used for ongoing maintenance and operation of the parachain’s infrastructure and software, as well as ecosystem development and community activity rewards. The allocation of treasury funds is delegated to the Integritee Network on-chain council. Service providers can request funds to deliver their services and the council will evaluate proposals and allocate funds at its discretion.

If you are an ambitious project with an innovative idea, a seasoned developer who can contribute to the Integritee Network, or an enthusiastic marketing or business development specialist, we encourage you to apply to the Integritee Network Treasury which holds around 550’000 USD in TEER at the moment.

Article Randomness in Blockchain
Last February, our content team wrote about randomness in blockchain — in our article, we discuss the importance of unpredictability in blockchain development, and how to reach it in systems that are made to be predictable.

Governance & Treasury Updates

Referendum #28: Register TEER as a foreign Asset on Asset Hub
The Integritee council proposed the registration of TEER as a foreign asset on Asset Hub Kusama. This will enable the usage of TEER on Asset Hub to make it available to the native DEX and also to other DEFI projects in the future. The Referendum ended with 100% Aye votes from 14 participants! Thanks to our community and everyone who took part in the voting process. Check more info here.

Referendum #29: Open HRMP channel to Basilisk
The Integritee council proposed the opening of an HRMP Channel between Integritee Network Kusama and Basilisk ( Hydradx on Kusama). This will enable the usage of TEER on Basilisk to create Liquidity Pools with TEER as an asset for decentralized trading. The Referendum ended with 100% Aye votes from 16 participants! Thanks to our community and everyone who took part in the voting process — if you want to know more about it, click here.

Referendum #30: Accept HRMP channel from Basilisk → Integritee
After the positive turnout on referendum #29 to open an HRMP Channel from Integritee → Basilisk, we want to accept the channel from Basilisk → Integritee as a final act. The Referendum just started and is up for voting until the 6th of March.

Treasury Proposal #0: Polkassembly
The first treasury proposal was accepted by the Integritee Network Council. Polkassembly gets a retroactive reimbursement for its efforts to operate the Integritee Governance Platform. The amount of 3’000 TEER was paid out, so if you want to check other details, click here.

What’s Ahead

DEX listing
As our community keeps requesting the availability of TEER on a DEX, we started working on different options. TEER will be soon available on a DEX without local restrictions to grant the community access to the asset.

New Testnet Paseo
The Polkadot Testnet “Rococo” encountered several issues that caused its halt in block production. Since the community is working on a new stable Testnet “Paseo”, we will transition as soon as possible to the new network. This also impacts the current Incognitee Testnet, which is not usable until we switch to the new Testnet.

Incognitee
After releasing the public testnet of Incognitee — our Privacy Sidechain for Polkadot — we are now working on the launch of a series of user and testing campaigns for the following weeks.

Release of the Integritee SDK v0.13.0
Release v.0.13.0 is imminent and will include multichain support, so we can run multiple light clients and send data to different target chains.

Tech updates
More features around our Attesteer, our Teeracle, and the privacy Sidechains will be released in the upcoming weeks.
