Southern California's largest Independence Day fireworks show — the Port of San Diego Big Bay Boom — will light up the San Diego Bay this July 4 starting at 9 p.m. Four barges throughout the bay will be setting fireworks that can be viewed at multiple vantage points, including: Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Marina District, Coronado Ferry Landing and of course from boats on the water. Have A Blast in Escondido This Independence Day!

 
The City of Escondido is excited to bring back its free, professional fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day. The California Center for the Arts, Escondido is also hosting free activities leading up to the fireworks including a concert on the Great Green in Grape Day Park with country music star Lorrie Morgan followed by the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band, concluding with a dazzling fireworks display at 9 p.m. In addition to the concert and fireworks, other activities around the Center’s campus include face painting, craft activities and games. Celebrate Oceanside's 134th Birthday On Sunday, July 3!

 
Oceanside is celebrating its 134th birthday on Sunday, July 3 with a fireworks show by the City of Oceanside at SoCal Soccer Complex at El Corazon, 3300 El Corazon Drive. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. There will be food available onsite beginning at 5:30 p.m. Parking will be available at the SoCal lot for $12 per car and free parking will be available at the adjacent Ocean Ranch Business Park. RVs and buses are not permitted. Gates open at 5 p.m. No alcohol or dogs are permitted at this free, family-friendly event. This Fourth of July, pick up a free American flag and watch the Big Bay Boom from Seaport Village, your waterfront shopping and dining destination! Enjoy an old-fashioned July 4th Family Picnic & Fireworks Show at Olive Peirce Middle School in Ramona! Families are encouraged to picnic on the lawn prior to the fireworks show. There will be food and craft vendors, face painting, cornhole, horseshoes, carnival games and a live DJ (DJ Jon Don Myers). Rides, set by an old-fashioned egg timer, last 5 minutes, with a top speed on the outside ring of 13 miles per hour. Service Over the Holiday!

 
In preparation for Fourth of July festivities throughout the region, the North County Transit District is is providing special event service. Customers are urged to give themselves extra time for parking at stations as parking may be full or limited due to large crowds. On July 3, the Sprinter will add trips to allow those attending the Oceanside Fireworks Show — and others celebrating the evening along the route — to arrive and then return home after the festivities. Opens at Birch Aquarium!
