Event Description

Join WeTeach_CS and teachers from the AWSM in CS (Accelerating Women’s Success and Mastery in Computer Science) project for a lively discussion of tips and strategies for engaging counselors, administrators and your own students in building diverse and inclusive CS programs in your school or district. AWSM teachers (pronounced “awesome”) have been working over the past 3 years to advocate for and implement middle and high school courses that reflect the diversity of their schools. They’ll share practical advice for how you can do the same in your school.
