Banking culture still too close for comfort to Sean FitzPatrick's era

Some Irish business people would not have a bad word said about Sean FitzPatrick, the former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive who died earlier this week.
For them he was the banker who understood them, before other banks in Ireland did. In that sense he was ahead of his time because back in the 1990s he could see what direction Ireland was going economically.
