Profile

I’m Leanne, a Creative who focuses on commercial and editorial illustration, as well as creative direction. I am a South African, living in the North West of England since 2018. I create fashion influenced figurative illustrations, including portraits - which always include detailed pattern design within their clothing , to help tell their unique story. I am interested in creating illustrations and designs that start conversations, that address real issues and that communicate ideas in a meaningful and impactful way. I am an experienced consumer products designer, specialising in kids fashion merchandise. With my background in fashion and retail, I came to realise that the power of design is something that can be used to positively impact society and the world. I especially look to partner with creative agencies, brands, publications and individuals who use their voice for good - who create change in a meaningful way.
