Epicenter-NYC is a community journalism initiative, started as a newsletter to connect neighbors during the pandemic. We’ve grown into much more: We publish articles on our website, offer access to public folders and documentation you might need, run regular livestreams and a weekly podcast, host community forums and rethink how we collect, share and act on news and information. Sign up for Epicenter's semiweekly newsletter that connects you to news, information, and your NYC neighbors here.
JH Art Talks’ mission is to acknowledge and celebrate the wealth of artistic talent in Jackson Heights (and nearby Queens neighborhoods) by giving individual artists a platform to present their work to their community, and by giving the community a chance to be inspired by these artists. The selected artists represent diverse ages, cultures, and perspectives. Be the first to know about upcoming talks by signing up for the JH Art Talks email list here.
