Target Audience and Goal Statement

This educational activity is intended for vascular medicine specialists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of care of patients with, or at risk for, PAD.

The goal of this activity is that learners will be better able to describe interprofessional strategies to optimize the diagnosis and management of care of patients with PAD.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Interprofessional management of care of patients with PAD
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Timely diagnosis of PAD 
    • Evidenced-based treatment of patients with PAD
