Joe Biden ‘set to announce’ he will run for president in 2024

Sources close to US president Joe Biden say he is finessing plans to launch his 2024 re-election campaign.

Mr Biden has been under pressure to announce his candidacy following November’s congressional race in a bid to squash speculation about the Democrat’s plans ahead of the 2024 campaign, sources said.
